Set up food orders on Instagram and Facebook
Kyte has partnered with Meta to connect your restaurant with hungry customers through an Order Food button on your profile and special food ordering stickers in your stories.
You need a Kyte account and an online catalog to activate this feature.

Publishing your catalog
Your online catalog can be set up directly in the app in just a few steps. Define your website’s link, how the products will be displayed and the orders placed.
- Open the Kyte app, go to the menu in the top left corner and tap Online Catalog.
- Enter the name of your restaurant and how you want to display your website’s link.
- Add a valid ID, a name and agree to the General Terms of Use.
- List your social media profiles and add your logo to the main page.
- Choose the color that best matches your brand, the display mode for items in the catalog (in list or Instaview) and out-of-stock products.
- Activate the Receive online orders option so people can make orders directly from your online catalog.
- Set shipping fees, a pick-up address (if applicable) and accepted payment methods.
- To add your goods, access the menu and go to Products. Click on the "+" to enter photos and information such as name, price and description, then Add Product. Repeat this step with all the items you want to advertise.
- Publish your catalog online.
Increase your online presence by integrating your catalog to all platforms:
Activating the feature
Kyte's new integration makes the sales process as easy as possible. With it, you streamline this step and focus on the production of orders.
- Access the Kyte app menu, go to Online Catalog and then Social Networks & Others. Click on Integrate with Partners and then on Food Orders.
- On the next screen, access your Facebook account and link to your restaurant's business page.
- After confirming your business page's link with Kyte, go to Facebook Business Manager and log in using the same data you use to enter your profile.
- On the home screen, on the Pages tab, click on your restaurant's business page to be redirected to the Facebook Business Suite platform.
- From the menu on the left, click Business Apps, select Kyte, then Connect. If you see the Manage option instead of Connect, the integration was completed correctly.
Business tools are not available in the Facebook app, so you need to do these steps on a computer or in the PC version of your mobile browser.
💡How to create a Facebook Business Page and integrate Kyte's catalog
Food orders on Facebook
After activating the feature, you can configure the Order Food button to appear on your Facebook profile.
- Access your Facebook account from the app or from your computer.
- Click on your business profile and access your restaurant's page.
- The Order Food button is created automatically during the integration with Kyte. If you created another button previously, it will be deleted.
People will now be able to place orders by directly clicking the Order Food button on your Facebook profile.
Food orders on Instagram
Configure the Order Food button on your Instagram profile as well.
- Go to your Instagram profile.
- Tap Edit or Edit profile.
- Under Public Business Information, tap Contact Options, then Add an action button.
- Under Select a button, choose Order Food.
- Select Kyte and add the link to its online catalog.
Now people will also be able to place orders by directly clicking the Order Food button on their Instagram profile. Note that if you have any other buttons on your profile, they will be automatically removed.
